The American Brush Manufacturers Association, or ABMA, celebrates our 100th anniversary in 2017. The 100th anniversary marks a special time to commemorate a special organization that has been there for an industry that is truly special. Now that's a lot of special.
Our industry is truly a manufacturing love story, and ABMA has been with us for most of the ride. Founded in Philadelphia in 1917, ABMA serves the industry by providing a voice for many where one cannot be heard. ABMA serves as a conduit for increasing the efficiencies of commerce by fostering networking and bringing the marketplace together in one place at one time. ABMA also serves as an industry representative to government at all levels. There are a number of brush companies who have been along for the ride, as ABMA members, for the entire 100 years.
The notion of time is a human construct, and as such we like to measure things against its moving screen. 100 years is quite a lot of time and we wish to commemorate our ABMA 100th anniversary with a yearlong celebration. To do this we are asking for your help. Please make a donation to our 100th anniversary effort. We want to create a variety of pieces that strengthen the recognition of our member companies, the products and ingenuity they display, and celebrate the accomplishment itself in gala fashion. We hope to use our 100th ABMA anniversary to increase awareness of our industry with an eye toward strengthening your business.
