SBA Extends PPP Repayment Date to May 18

Yesterday, the Small Business Administration released new guidance on the Paycheck Protection Program's economic necessity certification requirement. To give businesses time to review the new guidance, the SBA has now extended the repayment deadline to May 18 for applicants who cannot certify their loans' economic necessity. For more information, take a look at questions 46 and 47 on the SBA's PPP FAQ document.
