Affiliated Organizations

American National Standards Institute - ANSI provides for the approval and administration of national safety standards in a variety of industries. Publications include the B165.1 standard of power-driven brushing tools, for which ABMA acts as Secretariat.

ASTM International is one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world and is a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems, and services. Known for their high technical quality and market relevancy, ASTM International standards have an important role in the information infrastructure that guides design, manufacturing and trade in the global economy. ABMA is an Organizational member of ASTM. ABMA sponsored publications include F 2367 Labeling for Upright Brooms for Consumer and Institutional Use, and F 2368 Labeling for Wet Mops for Consumer and Institutional Use.

The CBMA, or Canadian Brush Manufacturers Association, is a nonprofit organization representing leading manufacturers of brushes, brooms, mops, and paint rollers in Canada and suppliers of materials, equipment and services to the industry.

FEIBP

The FEIBP is the European Federation of the Brush and Paint Brush Industry. There are currently 15 countries that are full members and 2 countries that are associate members.
