Next week, the House will vote on the Protecting the Right to Organize Act, known as the PRO Act. The NAM has pushed Congress to reject the PRO Act because it would infringe on the rights of workers, threaten essential businesses, and create adversarial relationships between employers and employees. The NAM wants to flag some resources you may find useful:

PRO Act Fact Sheet (available here): The document provides a summary of the key provisions of the bill.

NAM letter opposing the PRO Act (available here): Addressed to leaders in both the House and Senate, the letter expresses the NAM’s opposition to the bill and highlights the negative impact the PRO Act would have on workers’ rights in addition to manufacturers.

NAM Grassroots Campaign—Take Action Now: The NAM has created this tool for you to urge your member of Congress to oppose the PRO Act. If you have a relationship with your member of Congress or their staff, now is the time to send a note or put in a call. Please share the grassroots tool to others who would have interest so we can mobilize manufacturers and others who would be impacted by this legislation.

NAM-led Association Letter: The NAM is spearheading an association-only letter to Congress expressing wide opposition to the PRO Act. If your company is a member of another association, please consider urging them to sign on. The letter can be viewed and signed here. Please note that this letter is for associations only and any company names will be removed from the list of signatories.
