Industrial Brush Corporation (IBC) Announces Organizational Changes and the Relocation of its California Manufacturing Plant to St. George, Utah

IBC St George Bldg 03 15
In July of last year, IBC relocated its Pomona, California manufacturing plant, sales and administrative offices and corporate headquarters to St. George, Utah.  IBC moved to a brand new, more efficient and lower cost building and also escaped the ever deteriorating business climate in California. The St. George location provides a far lower cost of doing business, regulation and taxation as well as a family friendly environment with a greatly reduced cost of living for IBC employees. The new location continues to provide IBC with a west coast presence and equal or better freight costs.

The Lakeland, Florida plant was most recently expanded in 2006 and is not affected by this move.

IBC has also made several organizational changes including the new position of Director.  IBC will have three Director Positions:
IBC James Cottam 03 15
Director of Operations:  James Cottam will assume this new position which will be responsible for all operations in both the Utah and Florida manufacturing plants.  James joined the Company about four years ago and has worked in several functions as he learned the business.  Most recently he was a key part of moving the California plant to Utah.

IBC Chuck Richardson 03 15Director of Quality Improvement and Innovation:  Chuck Richardson will assume this new position which will be responsible for continual quality improvement and innovative machinery and production changes in both the Utah and Florida plants.  Chuck has been with IBC for 28 years starting as a machine operator, Plant Foreman, and Plant Manager.  He brings great experience and capability to this new position.

IBC John C Cottam 03 15Director of Technology and Business Development: John C Cottam recently joined IBC.  For the last ten years John has worked in IT management and software architecture development. John has a Computer Science degree and an MBA.  He will assume responsibility for all Company IT management and technological improvements and for Brush technical expertise.  He will primarily be responsible for new business development.

IBC Patrick Linn 03 15Patrick Linn recently joined IBC as the Manager of the Florida plant. Pat brings a wealth of experience and education in industrial plant management including experience with several quality control and improvement systems.  Pat recently relocated to Florida from the Midwest.

These changes will allow IBC to focus on the implementation of our business plan and better position the Company for the challenges and opportunities in the coming decades.
