ZAHORANSKY is Steadily Expanding its International Base

After inaugurating a new plant in 2013 with 2,500 m² production area in Tamil Nadu in Southern India, on  May 22nd  2015 ZAHORANSKY has made the first step for an extension to the 1974 plant in Logroño, the capital of Spain's La Rioja region. The production area will be enlarged by 2,000 m² and the administration building by about 600 m². Investments total 2.5 million Euros.

Beside the Management Board from Germany, the Lord Mayoress of Logroño, Concepción Gamarra, and the Prime Minister of La Rioja, Mr. Pedro Sanz attended the official ground-breaking ceremony at the Cantabria industrial estate. After completion scheduled for mid-2016, the extension will double the production area to 4,000 m². This extension had become necessary to meet the rising, worldwide demand for machines in the brush and broom industry.

The city of Logroño and the region welcome this extension and the importance this industrial project has for the area. Pedro Sanz thanked the enterprise for its commitment and for creating more high-profile jobs. Once the new building will be completed, there are plans to increase the workforce to between 80 and 100 people, more than doubling today's headcount.

The ZAHORANSKY GROUP owns six production plants worldwide.
With their three business divisions Machinery & Production, Mold Making and System Technology, ZAHORANSKY is a full-line supplier of brush and broom machines, blister packaging machines, injection molds and across-system automated solutions.
