ABMA Mourns the Loss of Israel Kirschner of Kirschner Brush
Mon April 9, 2018
Surrounded by the love of his family, Israel Kirschner passed away peacefully at 74 on April 1, 2018. His wonderful legacy as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and more lives on, as he is remembered as kind, moral, refreshingly honest and generous beyond belief.
Known for his kind eyes and genuine smile, his truest moments of joy throughout his life were those moments when he could see the joy in others.
As General Manager of Kirschner Brush, Mr. Kirschner cared deeply about every one of his employees and they remain devoted to him. He was the same way about his customers, always conscientious about meeting their needs, often forming close personal bonds, and maintaining these relationships for decades.
On April 3, 2018, in a traditional Jewish service in Queens, NY, and throughout the week that followed, the family celebrated his life with extended family and friends, who traveled from all over the country to pay their respects. Workers, vendors and longtime customers were in attendance.
The family is grateful for all of the loving calls, emails, visits, prayers, stories and most of all for the overwhelming support throughout his lifetime and especially in these final months.
